Alma Yasin joined the finance group as an associate in 2022. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Alma worked in the structured finance practice at other leading international firms in London, Germany and Croatia. She obtained an LL.M. degree at the Georgetown University Law Center in 2019.

Alma was part of the team recognised as "Banking & Finance Team of the Year" at the 2024 British Legal Awards for the financing of American Industrial Partners' double acquisition of AquaShip and Intership. She also advised Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan and the other initial purchasers on First Quantum Minerals' $1.6 billion senior secured second lien notes offering, which was named "High Yield Deal of the Year" at the 2025 IFLR Americas Awards.

  • Advised American Industrial Partners in connection with the syndicated infrastructure financing arrangements supporting its acquisition of Aquaship and Intership.
  • Advised Tillman Infrastructure, a leading, scaled macro tower and digital infrastructure U.S. business, on a $850 million private placement and earlier on a $500 million term loan facility with a syndicate of lenders.
  • Advised Oriflame in connection with a comprehensive recapitalization to deliver a substantially de-levered and sustainable balance sheet with a debt reduction of approximately €520 million and a meaningful maturity runway.
  • Advised InfraBuild, Australia's largest vertically integrated steel long manufacturer, on issuance of 14.500% Notes due 2028.
  • Advised Virgin Media O2 on a high-yield bond offering of $850 million Senior Secured Notes due 2033, issued by VMED O2 UK Financing I plc.
  • Advised Sunrise Communications AG (Sunrise) on a privately placed bond add-on issuance of €385 million of 4.625% Senior Secured Notes due 2032 by Sunrise Finco I B.V.
  • Advised initial purchasers on the offering of $1 billion aggregate principal amount of 7.250% senior notes due 2034 by First Quantum Minerals, a leading international mining and metals company engaged primarily in exploration, mine development and the production of copper, gold, zinc and nickel.
  • Advised VodafoneZiggo on the issuance of €575 million of Senior Secured Notes due 2032, in accordance with VodafoneZiggo ’s existing Green Bond Framework.
  • Advised Smurfit Kappa Group on the financing aspects of its proposed combination with WestRock to create Smurfit WestRock, the world's largest listed paper and packaging company, including consent solicitations to existing bondholders of Smurfit and WestRock as well as the issue of $2.75 billion senior green notes.
  • Advised Sunrise Communications AG, the leading challenger in the Swiss telecommunications market, in connection with the issuance of €550 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Secured Notes due 2032.
  • Advised InfraBuild, Australia’s only fully vertically-integrated steel manufacturing, distribution and recycling business, on a transaction seeking consents from the holders of its 14.500% Notes due 2028.
  • Advised VodafoneZiggo on the issuance of €575 million of Senior Secured Notes due 2032, in accordance with its existing Green Bond Framework.
  • Advised Goldman Sachs, Jefferies and Mizuho on all the financing elements of Outbrain’s acquisition of Teads, which consisted of a $625 million funded bridge facility, a $100 million revolving credit facility, and issuance of $637.5 million of 10.000% senior secured notes due 2030, which was used to refinance the bridge facility.
  • Advised BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (“Besi”), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, on its debut offering of €350 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2031
  • Advised Smurfit Kappa Group on the financing aspects of its proposed combination with WestRock to create Smurfit WestRock, the world's largest listed paper and packaging company
  • Advised Liberty Servicios Fijos LY (formerly known as Cabletica), a subsidiary of Liberty Latin America, on a US$450 million financing package provided by IDB Invest, including the issuance of Reg S7144A US$400 million sustainability-linked senior secured notes due 2031
  • Advised the initial purchasers on First Quantum Minerals’ offering of US$1,300 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes
  • Advised InfraBuild, Australia's largest vertically integrated steel long manufacturer, on a US$350 million asset-backed term loan
