Jeremy Zou joined Ropes & Gray’s tax, employment, and benefits department in 2025. During law school, Jeremy was the associate editor of University of Illinois Law Review. He was also a judicial intern for Chief Judge Sara Darrow in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

- Represented Anastasia Beverly Hills, an iconic cosmetics company founded by Romanian-born beauty entrepreneur Anastasia Soare out of her namesake Beverly Hills flagship salon in 1997 that creates prestige cosmetics for a passionate prosumer audience, in a fully consensual recapitalization. The transaction was supported by all of the company’s shareholders and lenders, significantly reduced the company’s debt, and strengthened the company’s balance sheet through a $225 million equity investment from founder and CEO Anastasia Soare.
