  • H.I.G. Capital, and its portfolio company Surgery Partners, in its US$760 million acquisition of National Surgical Healthcare (NSH). Surgery Partners is one of the largest and fastest growing surgical services businesses in the United States. Its combination with NSH created a diversified inpatient and outpatient surgical provider with a portfolio of 125 surgical facilities
  • H.I.G. Capital in its sale of AMPAC Fine Chemicals, a leading global supplier of high value-added active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates used in treating diseases such as cancer, CNS disorders and various viral infections
  • Kohlberg & Company in a strategic investment from Blackstone’s Strategic Capital Holdings Fund to acquire a passive minority equity interest in the firm
  • LPG Capital in its investment in Prosper Marketplace, Inc., a California-based company in the peer-to-peer lending industry
  • Mediware Information Systems, a portfolio company of TPG Capital, in its acquisition of Kinnser Software, Inc. from Insight Venture Partners
