Intellectual property litigation associate Marta Belcher (Silicon Valley) presented on Feb. 27 at the International Civil Society Centre’s Innovators Forum in Berlin. The two-day event was attended by executives from international NGOs including World Vision, Oxfam, Access Now, and the Cloudera Foundation and focused on how NGOs and civil society organizations can use blockchain (distributed ledger technology) and big data for public good. Ms. Belcher’s presentation addressed the potential applications of blockchain technology for rights management.
