Dave Sullivan to Speak at 2023 Closed-End Fund Conference

Asset management partner Dave Sullivan will speak at the Investment Company Institute’s 2023 Closed-End Fund Conference on Tuesday, November 14 in New York.

Dave will speak on a panel titled, “Managing the Discount and Changing Perspectives on the Return of Capital,” that will highlight how with an increase in activist engagement, the industry has focused in on the methods listed closed-end fund advisers have to reduce the discount between a closed-end fund’s trading price and its net asset value. The panel will discuss discounts and why they exist, analyze the tools available to listed closed-end fund managers to manage discounts, and outline the pros and cons of managed distribution programs. Joining Dave on the panel will be Jonathan Isaac, Managing Director, Product Management at Morgan Stanley, Wu-Kwan Kit, Senior Vice President, Senior Counsel at PIMCO, Christopher Larsen, Senior Product Manager, Global Alliances and New Business Strategies at Franklin Templeton, and Alexander Reiss, Managing Director at Equity Research.
