Ropes & Gray will host a panel on the state of private real estate investment in partnership with the organization 100 Women in Finance. The event will take place in the firm’s Chicago office on April 24 at 6 p.m.
Asset management associate Elyssa Westby will moderate the panel, which will focus on:
- interest rate highs and valuation lows (and vice versa);
- shifting attitudes towards private credit financing;
- how a heightened regulatory environment affects the day-to-day operations of sector participants;
- challenges and tips for attracting capital in the toughest fundraising market since 2012; and
- the yays and nays of sector-specific investing.
Joining Elyssa on the panel will be Jennifer Deason, CEO of Home Partners of America, Laura Craft, Global Head of Sustainable Investment Strategies at Heitman, and Denise Olsen, Senior Managing Director at GEM Realty Capital.
