Asset management group co-head Michael Doherty will speak on a panel on closed-end fund offerings at ICI’s Retail Alternatives and Closed-End Funds Conference on November 10 in New York.
The panelists will discuss the market conditions that laid the groundwork for rights offerings, at-the-market offering programs, and new initial public offerings, and whether those conditions and offerings will continue into 2027. They will also look at the SEC’s Registered Offering Reform proposal’s potential impact on both primary and secondary offerings.
Michael will speak on the panel with Joshua Feldman, managing director at Virtu Financial and co-head of the Virtu Capital Markets team; Brandon Jenkins, co-founder and COO of Fundrise; Stephen Minar, chair of the ICI Closed-End Investment Company Committee and managing director at BlackRock; and Mike Taggart, head of closed-end fund investor relations at Aberdeen Investments.
