Ropes & Gray represented Mansfield, Massachusetts-based, Hong Kong-listed luggage maker Samsonite International in its acquisition of the assets of U.S.-based casual bag distributor High Sierra for $110 million.
High Sierra is headquartered in Gurnee, Illinois, and its products are targeted at skiers, snowboarders and lifestyle consumers. It is the official supplier of bags and luggage for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team.
