A team of Ropes & Gray attorneys advised private equity client Weston Presidio and its portfolio company Evenflo Company, Inc. on the sale of Evenflo’s Ameda® breastfeeding business to Platinum Products Holding, Inc., a portfolio company of Crimson Investments, in a transaction announced on December 4. Evenflo will retain and exclusively focus on its portfolio of leading brands in the juvenile gear category: Evenflo®, ExerSaucer®, Snugli® and Gerry®. Weston Presidio will retain its majority ownership position in Evenflo.
