Ropes & Gray Represents Party City in its Acquisition of iParty

A Ropes & Gray team represented Party City Holdings Inc. (a party goods designer, manufacturer, distributor and retailer, and a Thomas H. Lee Partners portfolio company) in its acquisition of  iParty Corp. (a NYSE listed party goods retailer). The deal was announced on March 1 and is expected to close during the second quarter of 2013. 

The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity transactions associate Sarah Schaffer Raux and securities & public companies partner Julie Jones, and included partners Leo Arnaboldi (tax), Ed Black (intellectual property transactions), Jane Willis (business & securities litigation) and Jon Zorn (benefits), and associate Adam Dobson (corporate).
