A team of Ropes & Gray attorneys represented Civitas Therapeutics, Inc., a privately held biopharmaceutical company, in its acquisition by Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. for $525 million in cash. The Ropes & Gray team included life sciences partners Marc Rubenstein and Steven Wilcox (both of Boston), antitrust partner Michael McFalls (Washington, D.C.), tax partner Eric Elfman, benefits partner Renata Ferrari and antitrust counsel Deidre Johnson (both of Boston).
