Ropes & Gray advised Multi Packaging Solutions, a global print and packaging company focused on the consumer, health care and multimedia markets and a portfolio company of the Carlyle Group and Madison Dearborn Partners, in its planned acquisition of the North American and Asian print businesses of AGI Global Holdings Coöperatief U.A. and AGI-Shorewood Group US Holdings LLC (together, ASG). ASG is a leading printing and specialty packaging solutions supplier with locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and China. The parties announced their entry into a definitive agreement on Nov. 3; additional terms were not disclosed.
