Ropes & Gray advised Altamont Capital Partners in its acquisition of Quebec-based frozen poultry products manufacturer Maxi Canada, Inc. Maxi’s portfolio of market-leading products are sold throughout the United States under the Yummy and Dino Buddies Brands. Altamont Capital, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a private investment firm focused on middle market businesses across a range of industries, including consumer/retail, industrials, health care and financial services. The deal closed Dec. 9.
