Health care partner Tom Bulleit (Washington, D.C.) is quoted in a May 24 Law360 article discussing the Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) prediction that Republican legislation largely repealing the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) would destabilize many insurance markets and put comprehensive health insurance out of reach for many Americans.
Mr. Bulleit explains that the CBO report did not derail U.S. Senate efforts to negotiate a health care repeal bill that is acceptable to conservative and moderate Republicans, but he predicts that the efforts will be daunting and it is difficult to envision a bill that will satisfy both wings of the Republican party.
