A Ropes & Gray litigation team led by partner Chong Park working on a pro bono basis secured an important victory on behalf of three individual student loan borrowers, including two former American Bar Association employees, in a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education contesting the department’s determination of eligibility for the government’s public service loan forgiveness program (PSLF).
The national news media has been following the case closely and reported on this win. Notably, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The American Lawyer and Law360 cover the firm’s involvement in the case, naming Mr. Park as counsel to the ABA, and including his remarks.
