Ropes & Gray represented TPG Capital portfolio company WellSky Corporation in an agreement to acquire ClearCare, Inc., a leading software-as-a-service provider used by home care companies. The transaction was announced on Oct. 8. Financial terms were not disclosed.
San Francisco-based ClearCare provides an enterprise software platform for personal care agencies that support people who need in-home caregivers to complete tasks including cooking, bathing, housekeeping and transportation. ClearCare’s SaaS platform helps personal care agencies to optimize billing, staff management, care delivery and referral management processes.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity transactions partners Chau Le and Jason Freedman (both of San Francisco), and included tax partner Benjamin Rogers (San Francisco), finance partner Michael Lee (Boston), strategic transactions partner Megan Baca (Silicon Valley), benefits partner Danna Kivell (New York) and health care associate Christina Bergeron (Boston).
