Ropes & Gray advised an investment fund managed by Lakeview Capital, a Michigan-based family office, on its acquisition of The Mochi Ice Cream Company, makers of My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream and the largest branded manufacturers of mochi ice cream in North America. Lakeview acquired Los Angeles-based Mochi Ice Cream from Central Park Capital Partners. The transaction was announced on January 30. The press release is here.
The acquisition provides The Mochi Ice Cream Company with resources and support to expand its mochi snack platform. Terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed.
