Ropes & Gray advised Help at Home, the leading national provider of in-home, person-centered care for seniors and people with disabilities, in the acquisition of Community Care Systems Inc., a provider of high-quality, in-home services with 13 branch locations throughout Illinois. The transaction was announced on July 21.
Help at Home provides in-home, community-based care in 13 states in 169 locations with the help of 30,000 highly trained caregivers who have relationships with 67,000 clients.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Martin Ruhaak, health care partner Jennifer Romig and private equity associates Lyndsey Greenfield, Joshua Tinnon and Olivia Volpe (all of Chicago) and included employment & benefits partner Jennifer Cormier (Boston), tax partner Aaron Harsh (Boston) and tax counsel Alyssa Kollmeyer (Boston).
