Ropes & Gray represented Evergreen Coast Capital Corp. in its acquisition of a majority stake in DreamBox Learning, the leading education technology provider that pioneered intelligent adaptive learning. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction was announced on Nov. 8 in a press release.
DreamBox supports 400,000 educators and approximately 6 million students in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and throughout the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Mexico. Evergreen Coast Capital, which focuses on technology investing, is part of Elliott Investment Management L.P., which manages more than $48 billion of assets.
