Ropes & Gray advised Domaille Engineering in its sale to American Industrial Partners and ADDMAN Engineering. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. The transaction was announced on Dec. 1 in a press release.
Domaille, headquartered in Rochester, Minn., is a manufacturer of mission-critical aerospace and defense components and proprietary fiber optic instruments. American Industrial Partners is an operationally oriented private equity firm that since 1989 has completed over 100 transactions and currently has more than $7 billion of assets under management.
The team that advised Domaille Engineering was led by private equity partner Martin Ruhaak (Chicago), and included benefits partner Matt Jones (Chicago) and antitrust counsel Deidre Johnson (Boston).
