Ropes & Gray represented NovaQuest Private Equity in the closing of its NovaQuest Private Equity Fund II at $500 million of LP commitments. The oversubscribed fund includes commitments from a diverse group of new and returning investors including pension plans, insurance companies, asset managers, private foundations, and family offices. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The announcement was announced on May 12 in a press release.
NovaQuest Private Equity is a private equity firm that invests in lower middle-market healthcare companies primarily in North America. NovaQuest invests in services and technology companies where a strategic partner and operating resources can accelerate growth, targeting companies in healthcare and pharmaceutical services industries.
