Ropes & Gray advised TPG and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in closing their acquisition of Covetrus, an animal-health technology and services provider. With the acquisition closing, Covetrus is now a private company. The closing was announced on Oct. 13 in a press release.
TPG is a global alternative asset management firm with $127 billion of assets under management.
Clayton, Dubilier & Rice is a private investment firm. Since its inception, it has managed the investment of more than $40 billion in over 100 companies with an aggregate transaction value of more than $175 billion.
