Ropes & Gray Advises the Initial Purchasers on First Quantum Minerals’ US$1.3 Million Senior Notes Offering

Ropes & Gray has advised the initial purchasers on First Quantum Minerals’ offering of US$1,300 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes. First Quantum Minerals is a leading international mining and metals company engaged primarily in exploration, mine development and the production of copper, gold, zinc and nickel.

This transaction represents a well-received return to the high yield market by First Quantum Minerals resulting in an upsize of the deal from the initial offering amount. The successful offering further bolsters the reputation of the Ropes & Gray London Finance team as legal advisor to the initial purchasers, complementing the team’s market leading issuer side practice.
