Ropes & Gray advised Kohlberg & Company in the sale of the majority of its stake in GPRS Holdings to Roark Capital. The transaction was announced in a Jan. 13 press release.
Kohlberg is a leading U.S. middle market private equity firm based in Mount Kisco, New York. The firm invests in companies characterized by strong brands, recurring revenue streams and leading market positions. As of Sept. 30, Kohlberg manages approximately $15 billion on behalf of institutional investors globally.
GPRS provides subsurface damage prevention, existing conditions documentation, and facility management solutions to utilities, contractors, engineers, and businesses in every major market in the United States. The company is headquartered in Maumee, Ohio.
