Harvest Partners Completes Acquisition of The Learning Experience

Ropes & Gray represented Harvest Partners, a private equity firm with over 40 years of experience investing in middle-market companies, in its acquisition of The Learning Experience (“TLE”) from Golden Gate Capital. TLE is a leading provider of early childhood education serving children six weeks to six years old, and the company’s management team, led by Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Richard Weissman, will continue to lead TLE and remain significant owners of the business. Golden Gate will retain a minority position in the Company as part of the transaction.

The closing of the transaction was announced in a July 1 press release. Additional terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
