Ropes & Gray represented TPG in a binding agreement with GE Vernova Inc. to acquire its Proficy® manufacturing software business for $600 million. Proficy’s software portfolio solves industrial challenges across discrete, process, and hybrid manufacturing, as well as metro transit and other infrastructure applications. The agreement was announced on Sept. 11 in a press release.
TPG is a leading global alternative asset management firm with $261 billion of assets under management and investment and operational teams around the world.
