Ropes & Gray Chair Julie Jones has been named a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development (CED).
CED is The Conference Board’s nonprofit, nonpartisan, business-led public policy center that focuses on delivering trusted insights and reasoned solutions to our nation’s most critical economic and geopolitical challenges.
CED Trustees are chief executive officers, board directors, and key executives of leading US companies. They bring their unique experience from every sector of the economy to address today's pressing policy issues and develop policies to grow a sustainable economy and provide equal opportunities for all Americans. Collectively they represent 30+ industries and over 4 million employees.
Julie is currently the only law firm chair serving as a CED Trustee. Along with Julie, newly appointed Trustees include Martina Cheung, President & CEO, S&P Global; David Zwillinger, Co-Founder and CEO, DESRI; Rich Whitney, Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Radiology Partners; Michelle Peluso, CEO, Revlon Group Holdings; and Pat Tomlinson, President and CEO, Mercer.
