Ropes & Gray represented Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRDN), a biotechnology company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing potential best-in-class medicines for autoimmune and rare diseases in an upsized concurrent registered offering of $225 million of 1.75% convertible notes due 2032 and $125 million of common stock at a public offering price of $17 per share. The offering priced on May 6 and closed on May 11.
Viridian’s expertise in antibody discovery and protein engineering enables the development of differentiated therapeutic candidates for validated drug targets and disease-driving mechanisms in autoimmune and rare diseases.
The team was led by capital markets partner Tristan VanDeventer and included capital markets partner Zach Blume and counsel Lisa Folkerth and tax partner David Saltzman.
