Ropes & Gray has advised Ares Management as the lender in connection with the financing of Charterhouse Capital Partners' acquisition of Batibig, a leading B2B provider of emergency building repairs, maintenance, and renovation services in France. Charterhouse is one of the longest established private equity firms operating in Europe.
Charterhouse will partner with Batibig's co-founders and management team to support the next phase of the company's growth. Building on its proven expertise in executing buy-and-build strategies and expanding companies geographically, Charterhouse intends to continue pursuing Batibig's acquisition strategy, strengthening its presence across France and internationally, with the ambition of creating a pan-European leader.
