Ropes & Gray represented Kohlberg & Company in its acquisition of a majority interest in Advanced Industrial Devices from Black Bay Partners. AID is a provider of highly engineered automation and control solutions to mission-critical infrastructure. The transaction was announced on Oct. 6. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Kohlberg, founded in 1987, is a leading U.S. middle market investment firm based in Mount Kisco, New York with deep experience investing across private equity and credit.
