The Daily Journal, one of California's leading legal newspapers, selected Ropes & Gray partner Robert Goldman as one of the state's leading IP litigators. The newspaper, in its report published on April 7, noted that Goldman, who is based in the firm's Silicon Valley office, won a series of cases for Purdue Pharma over the validity of its patent on the pain medication OxyContin and last year advised Purdue's foreign affiliates in connection with litigation in Europe and Canada. Goldman's practice has involved trial and appellate work nationwide for clients such as AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, LP, and Tessera Technologies.
