On September 25, Ropes & Gray was honored at the 2013 LMG Life Sciences Awards ceremony in New York. These awards recognize attorneys, firms and in-house counsel teams that have played a significant role in the life sciences industry over the past year.
Ropes & Gray received the following awards:
- “Hatch-Waxman Impact Case of the Year” for the firm’s representation of Purdue in Purdue Pharma el al v. Sandoz. Intellectual property litigation partner Bob Goldman led this case.
- “Canadian Impact Deal of the Year” for the firm’s representation of Alexion Pharmaceuticals in its acquisition of Enobia Pharmaceuticals. Capital markets partner Patrick O’Brien led this deal.
In addition to these awards, the firm received high rankings from the LMG Life Sciences guide.
