Health care partner John Chesley (San Francisco) was named to The Recorder’s 2020 list of California Trailblazers. The legal professionals included in the list have made significant contributions in their respective practices. John was profiled by the publication on his recent significant accomplishments and what the future holds for his practice areas.
John, who specializes in health care finance and restructuring, was honored for representing Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a non-profit academic medical center located in Los Angeles, in the negotiation of a whole-hospital joint venture with Providence St. Joseph Health, a non-profit Catholic hospital system. Separately, John represented Community Medical Centers Healthcare Network in developing and negotiating an agreement with the Santé Health Foundation physician network for co-management of CMC’s clinical and research oncology program where cancer patients could access all the care they needed in one location.
