Ropes & Gray Named a Finalist for Two ALB Hong Kong Law 2025 Awards

Ropes & Gray has been named a finalist for “Investment Funds Firm of the Year” and “Regulation and Investigations Law Firm of the Year” as part of Asian Legal Business’ ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2025. These awards, now in their 24^th year, honor outstanding achievements in the legal field, celebrating the exceptional performance of both private practitioners and in-house counsel in Hong Kong.

The firm’s Asia-based asset management team, which is led by Vincent Ip and Chune Loong Lum, represents some of the most notable fund sponsors in Asia as well as numerous sovereign wealth funds on matters including anchor commitments to funds and seeding programs, formation of billion-dollar separate accounts, special focus vehicles, direct investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions.

Ropes & Gray’s investigations team is one of the largest in Hong Kong. The team, which is led by Geoffrey Atkins and Andrew Dale, is known for handling China’s and Asia’s most complex government enforcement and corporate investigations matters for the world’s largest and most influential companies and global investors in the region, including in China, India, Japan, Myanmar, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
