Rankings & Awards
March 3, 2026

Crain's Chicago Business honored litigation and enforcement partner and co-leader of our global litigation & enforcement practice group Laura Hoey, asset management partner and managing partner of our Chicago office Paulita Pike, and health care partner Jennifer Romig as 2026 "Notable Women in Law." This list recognizes groundbreaking women attorneys who are both trailblazers and torchbearers, redefining success in the legal profession by setting precedent in landmark cases, guiding billion-dollar transactions, and shaping policy while mentoring the next generation of attorneys.

Laura Hoey was chosen for her leadership of more than two dozen False Claims Act matters, including representing Modernizing Medicine in resolving FCA allegations in a no-admission, $45 million, company-only settlement that did not require any changes to ModMed's products, EHR certifications, or compliance policies.

Paulita Pike was selected for serving as lead counsel to the Independent Trustees of Innovator ETF Trust to develop the market's first defined-outcome ETFs, driving assets from zero to more than $29.1 billion across 160 ETFs in seven years and prompting adoption by leading asset managers.

Jennifer Romig was recognized for serving as regulatory counsel to Signify Health, a New Mountain Capital portfolio company, in its $8 billion all-cash sale to CVS Health, where her guidance on risk allocation, payer/provider compliance, data governance, and multi-state regulatory approvals streamlined diligence and integration planning for a 10,000+ clinician platform operating nationwide.
