M&A partners Ariel Deckelbaum and Suni Sreepada have been named finalists for “Dealmaker of the Year” as part of New York Law Journal’s New York Legal Awards 2026. The annual New York Legal Awards recognize the attorneys and judges whose dedication, innovation, and leadership have profoundly impacted the legal profession across the state.
Ariel and Suni have been recognized for their work on some of the most complex and consequential deals in the market over the past year, most notably advising Nippon Steel Corporation on its definitive agreement to acquire U.S. Steel for a total enterprise value of $14.9 billion.
This year's winners will be announced at the New York Legal Awards 2026 event on September 3rd.
