A litigation & enforcement team led by partner Peter Welsh earned a “Litigator of the Week” shout-out from The American Lawyer for securing a dismissal with prejudice of a securities fraud class action against clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Zenas BioPharma, Inc.
The lawsuit arose out of the registration statement issued in connection with Zenas' initial public offering in September 2024. U.S. District Judge Leo Sorokin in Boston dismissed the case with prejudice, a rare result for securities act cases.
The team also included litigation & enforcement associates Will Piereson, Chloe Aubuchon, and Liam Cronan.
