Hedge funds partner Leigh Fraser (Boston) and hedge funds counsel Molly Moore (Washington, D.C.), authored an article in Source Media’s Nov. 2014 issue of Derivatives Special Report titled “EMIR OTC Derivatives Clearing: The Long Haul.” The article explores ESMA’s proposed phased-in approach to derivatives clearing, and highlights uncertainty concerning the treatment of non-EU firms facing EU dealers.
The report was released in conjunction with the Futures Industry Association’s Derivatives Expo, held in Chicago, Nov. 4-6.
