Intellectual Property Litigators to Speak on Post-Grant Patent Trials
Intellectual property litigation partners Scott McKeown (Washington, D.C.) and James Batchelder (Silicon Valley) will speak at Practising Law Institute’s “USPTO Post-Grant Patent Trials 2017” seminar on Oct. 25 in San Francisco.
Mr. McKeown, who serves as co-chair of the PLI Post-Grant Patent Trials 2017 seminars, will co-moderate a discussion of PTAB rule changes and initiatives, emerging trends, inter partes review, post-grant review and covered business method proceedings. He will also co-moderate the discussion on Sept. 25 in New York, which includes a special segment on Bio-Pharma related PTAB practice.
Mr. Batchelder will moderate a panel addressing patent monetization, licensing and enforcement efforts in Silicon Valley, as well as Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) case management strategy.
