Webinar: Proposed Revisions to the Advertising and Cash Solicitation Rules – Comment Letters
In the fall of 2019, the Securities & Exchange Commission proposed sweeping changes to the existing rules on advertising by investment advisers along with revisions to the Cash Solicitation Rule. Comments to these proposed rules were recently due to the SEC, and on this webinar that took place on June 11, 2020, asset management partner Joel Wattenbarger and asset management counsel Jessica Marlin review the proposed rules, discuss the contents of the submitted comment letters, and consider how the comments might influence the final rules, assuming the Commission proceeds to a final rulemaking.
