Ropes & Gray hosted a virtual panel discussion during the 39th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference titled “From the Boardroom: An Industry Insider’s Latest View of the Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry in a Post-Covid World.”
The panel outlined key ways that the pandemic will transform biopharmaceutical research and commercialization in the year ahead including clinical trials, domestic manufacturing, new drug development methods, greater collaboration and M&A activity. One panelist called the life sciences landscape a “tremendous cauldron for change.”
The panel featured Ropes & Gray’s global life sciences industry group partners Marc Rubenstein (Boston) and Margaux Hall (Washington, D.C.), along with EQRx Founder and CEO Alexis Borisy, Blackstone Managing Director Anushka Sunder and GV Venture Partner Issi Rozen.
