On January 13, the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Division, International Law Section, Business Law Section, Compliance and Ethics Section and Ropes & Gray co-hosted a virtual panel discussing “An FCPA Compliance Roadmap for Navigating the COVID-19 Crisis.”

Moderated by María González Calvet, panelists Marta I. Carreira-Slabe (Americas Chief Compliance Officer, AON), Rodolfo Rivera (Chief International Counsel, Fidelity National Financial), and Alexia Romero (Associate Corporate Counsel, Google) examined how U.S. multinationals and global foreign companies must still meet the challenges of complying with the FCPA and other anti-bribery laws by demonstrating their commitment to compliance under the pressures of COVID-19. Panelists also offered attendees with tools to navigate recent enforcement trends and provided takeaways to mitigate FCPA risks.
