Ropes & Gray Honored with Pro Bono Award from D.C. Bar

Ropes & Gray received the Law Firm Pro Bono Award from the D.C. Bar in recognition of pro bono work completed by Washington, D.C. attorneys and staff. Over the last year, attorneys and staff successfully resolved pro bono cases for refugees, veterans, neglected children and disabled individuals. Lawyers in the Washington, D.C. office dedicated nearly 15,000 hours to  pro bono matters, focusing on projects designed to help low-income individuals and immigration clients. The firm’s lawyers partnered with organizations including Children’s Law Center, the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program’s Advocacy & Justice Clinic, Human Rights First, Immigration Equality and the Legal Aid Society to assist disadvantaged individuals in need of legal services.

The award was presented at the D.C. Bar annual meeting on June 30.
