Ropes & Gray Represents Blackstone in $3 Billion Acquisition of Emdeon

A cross-practice team of Ropes & Gray attorneys is advising private equity firm Blackstone Group on its approximately $3 billion acquisition of Emdeon, an information technology services provider to the health care industry. The transaction was announced on August 4 and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2011, subject to applicable regulatory and shareholder approvals.
