A cross-office team of Ropes & Gray attorneys completed the second major acquisition this year for TravelClick, Inc. On Nov. 4, TravelClick acquired EZYield Global, LLC, a worldwide leader in online hotel channel management software. In March of this year, TravelClick acquired Rubicon, Inc., a company providing market intelligence to the global travel industry.
The acquisition of both companies will help augment TravelClick’s leading hotels reservation solutions business, which offers business intelligence products and comprehensive media and marketing solutions to help hotels grow their businesses worldwide. TravelClick is one of the major portfolio companies of San Francisco-based private equity firm Genstar Capital LLC.
The Ropes & Gray teams working on both transactions were led by partner Howard Glazer (San Francisco) and included Byung Choi (Boston) and Peter Ebb (Boston); and associates Jennifer Rikoski (Boston), Scott Ollivierre (New York) and Chris England (New York).
