Ropes & Gray represented Evenflo Company Inc., manufacturer of baby care and juvenile products, in reaching a definitive agreement to sell its worldwide feeding business to Kimberly-Clark de Mexico.
Announced Jan. 18, the transaction is expected to be completed by the end of January and is subject to regulatory approval. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it does not include Evenflo’s Ameda breast pump business and Evenflo will retain its leading juvenile travel and home safety businesses.
Kimberly-Clark de Mexico is a leading provider of personal and family care products in Mexico. Evenflo is a leading manufacturer of car seats, strollers, safety gates, high chairs, play yards and activity products for children from birth through preschool.
