Six New York City public high school students spent the week of July 8-11 interning with the firm’s New York office as part of the Legal Outreach program, a highly successful college booster program which provides students with exposure to various aspects of the legal profession.

In addition to participating in tours, role-playing and other structured activities with lawyers and staff, the rising 10th graders made formal presentations before an audience of New York attorneys and staff. The students presented on Fisher v. University of Texas, a case recently heard by the U.S. Supreme Court that addresses whether the University of Texas at Austin discriminated against a white female applicant by considering race in its undergraduate admissions policy.
