In the piece, he discusses questions about how the United States’ new general solicitation rule reforms under Regulation D will coexist with Europe’s Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive. Mr. Raine notes, “No one has a compliance program to deal with it yet so no one really knows what it looks like in practice.”
