Ropes & Gray Represents Bob’s Discount Furniture in Sale to Bain Capital

Ropes & Gray represented Bob’s Discount Furniture, a furniture and bedding retailer, in its definitive agreement to sell a majority stake to Bain Capital, a global private investment firm. The deal marks an exit by SKM Equity Fund III, L.P., a fund advised by Greenwich, Conn.-based KarpReilly LLC and London-based Apax Partners LLP. Financial terms were not disclosed.
