Ropes & Gray Represents Kohlberg’s Packaging Dynamics in Acquisition of Pac Paper
Ropes & Gray assisted Kohlberg & Co. portfolio company Packaging Dynamics Corporation in completing its acquisition of Pac Paper, Inc., a Vancouver, Washington-based manufacturer of a broad range of specialty paper packaging products used primarily for food service, food processing, agricultural and industrial applications. The transaction was announced on April 15, and the terms were not disclosed. Chicago-based Packaging Dynamics Corporation is a provider of packaging and specialty paper.
The deal team was led by private equity partner William Shields (Boston) and included tax partner Aaron Harsh (Boston); and intellectual property transactions counsel Thomas Burke (New York).
